Position: Digital Channel Owner
Location: Cambridge (Commutable from Cambridge North, Milton, Ely, Swavesy, Histon & Impington, Oakington, Fenstanton, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Saffron Walden, St Neots, Bedford, Hitchin, Stevenage, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35-hour working week
Salary: £29,195 to £32,439 per annum plus benefits

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client to join their Digital Communications team as a Digital Channel Owner, leading on performance monitoring and measurement.
They have a vision to ensure that every time someone engages with them through digital spaces, their relationship with them gets stronger. That means delivering great customer experience through the most effective use of digital channels and content for all of their audiences.
The Digital Communications team is responsible for making this happen and ensuring that their digital presence - across websites, social media, email and search - is as impactful as possible in promoting their work, products and services to a worldwide and diverse community of chemists and people with a passion for chemistry. The team is a centre of excellence for the whole organisation, setting the example in digital delivery and guiding the organisation in creating and curating useful, engaging content that inspires people to take action.
You’ll be part of a team responsible for content creation and delivery across a range of digital channels to support communications and marketing projects. They also support colleagues from across the organisation by advising on best practice and the most effective use of digital channels and tactics.
You’ll lead on the monitoring of digital channel performance and use the data to make recommendations about the development of these channels.
About you:
You’ll need to have a passion for digital measurement and attribution. You should know Google Analytics inside out; be a guru with Google Tag Manager; know your tracking pixels from your tracking links and be able to interpret data from these (and other) sources to colleagues and laypeople, using tools like Google Data Studio and others.
Experience in social media management, email marketing, digital advertising and content marketing with a passion for optimisation and improvement would be a bonus.
