Job Details

People in the UK go hungry every day for a range of reasons, from benefit delays to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. The Trussell Trust’s 400-strong network of foodbanks provides a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to people experiencing such a crisis. We recognise that stopping hunger is about more than food, which is why foodbanks in our network provide a range of other services to help people to break out of the cycle of poverty. And because we believe that it’s completely unacceptable that anyone is forced to turn to a foodbank, we are working hard at a national level to change the underlying causes of the poverty that leaves people hungry.

This role is responsible for securing the gifts from grant makers that enable us to bring communities together to end hunger and poverty in the UK. This is a hands-on fundraising role with a personal income target as well as a shared team one. You will have line management responsibility for two part-time trust fundraisers

About you:

An experienced trust fundraiser with line management experience and training, you will be confident you can build and manage a pipeline of bids to deliver income in line with targets and secure a sustainable mix of multi-year grants to ensure the sustainability of this income stream.

You will be resilient, resourceful, flexible and will demonstrate personal integrity and a commitment to our values. You must also have a good working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar cloud-based CRM system.

How to apply

Please submit your application no later than 12pm on Wednesday 19 September 2018. We reserve the right to close early or extend this date depending on the number of applicants.

Interviews will be held in the week commencing 24 September 2018 in Salisbury.

Please note, incomplete or speculative applications will not be considered.
