This prominent membership organisation is a leading professional body for their industry and one of the largest within the UK.

Description

  • Establishing an detailed overview of the membership lifecycle, and ensuring an understanding the different types of members, how their needs differ, and their interactions with the organisation
  • Managing membership acquisition, lapse, upgrade and renewal processes and communications
  • Carrying out effective analysis of membership data produce insights and assist in driving a variety of initiatives including member retention and renewal campaigns, and international membership drives
  • Taking ownership of email communications to determine the types of emails that members receive and working closely with the email marketing team to ensure a seamless user experience, while also ensuring the organisation remains GDPR compliant
  • Taking ownership of the member affinity scheme including managing the relationship with external organisations and promotion of the scheme with members across a variety of marketing channels
  • Carrying out competitor analysis and benchmarking activity

Profile

Essential

  • Proven membership marketing and project coordination experience with an ability to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with planning and implementing engaging marketing campaigns using the full range of marketing channels, as well as tracking and measuring their performance
  • Experience with carrying out market research and data analysis and reporting and the ability to highlight insights and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data
  • Proven time management skills with ability to prioritise a high workload to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships across the organisation and externally
  • Analytical approach to work, identifying areas for improvements and making appropriate recommendations
  • A flexible team-player with a can do attitude

Desirable

  • Previous membership/association experience would be advantageous
  • Experience of using Power BI (or similar data analysis/visualisation tools)
  • Knowledge of GDPR requirements

  • Between £28,000-£32,000 depending on experience
