£28,000 per annum

Full Time (35 hours per week, Mon-Fri)

They are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Web Support and Development Officer to join the team in Newark and help drive forward the rollout and development of a new Drupal 8 web platform across the Trusts movement. 


In this key position you will be a centre of expertise for queries and support in relation to a new Drupal 8 based web template. You will have overall responsibility for management of the shared codebase used by individual Trust sites and you will manage the deployment of code changes using a Git based workflow the tools within the Pantheon hosting environment. 


You will also work closely with web development partners to provide local Trusts with technical support, assistance with bug fixing, content creation queries, integration of social media, analytics and a range of third party services including online payments and donations. You will also prioritise, plan, develop and test new features within the website template and will play a key role in shaping the long-term direction of the initiative. 


The role will also provide CMS training and website guidance and support to colleagues from across the local Trusts and assist in all aspects of launching and operating their individual sites.


There is also an opportunity for the role assist with The Trusts national website and work on other digital projects including the support and development of the Trusts intranet. Other duties will include providing administrative support in the management and coordination of the collective website template project.


The successful candidate should demonstrate an honest and inclusive attitude with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and progress multiple issues. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience supporting / developing with Drupal 8 or earlier versions of Drupal and related technologies. However, applications are also strongly encouraged from individuals with a strong technical mindset and a keenness and ability to quickly learn and embrace new technologies.
