Job Details
Harris Hill are working with a brilliant international charity who are recruiting who are looking for someone with a passion for engaging and inspiring donors. Enthusiasm and energy is key for this position, where you will work closely with a number of internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless supporter journeys. You will have experience of copywriting and project management, either within fundraising or marketing.
You will be responsible for project managing the exciting, multi-channel supporter retention programme, which may include (but not limited to) newsletters, emails, online, direct mail, telemarketing and events. You'll be sourcing inspirational stories and curating engaging, quality content from programmes, helping to bring supporters closer to the organization.
In order to apply for this role you will have the following experience:
- Good understanding of Direct Marketing (ideally within a fundraising environment).
- Excellent communication skills able to adapt content and style in accordance with audience needs, and to write clear, accurate, jargon free, emotive copy.
- Excellent time management skills with experience of managing a varied workload. Ability to schedule, brief and manage multiple projects involving other people to deliver results against objectives and to agreed timescales.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships, influence and gain respect from colleagues across the charity and externally such as with donors, suppliers, volunteers.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft and database packages, including understanding of data manipulation and segmentation for direct marketing campaigns.
- Inspire great team work able to work with many different teams across the organisation, in a collaborative way and be flexible and adapt to change
