Public Sector / NFP client based in Hereford

Description

  • Distribution of material/information to target audiences within campaigns
  • Projects / campaigns; Supporting the creation, design and development of campaign materials including commissioning support from colleagues in design and digital
  • Communications channel management (e.g.Website and Social media);
    • Support the maintenance of communications channels such as the Website and social media platforms by ensuring information is kept up to date and relevant
    • Create tweets and posts for client social media platforms
  • Consultation and engagement

    • Sourcing and booking appropriate venues for meetings
    • Event logistics e.g registration and administrative tasks
    • Creation of event materials e.g. evaluation and demographic monitoring forms
    • Provision of event reports and evaluation
  • Stakeholder management

    • Support the maintenance of datasets in accordance with GDPR requirements
    • Monitor social media and other channels for stakeholder activity and reporting activity to the client and other members of the place-based team
  • Media
    • Receive media calls and ensure these are referred appropriately and in line with agreed arrangements/protocols within the client base
    • Distribute press releases as as required
    • Draft press releases in relation to specific projects
  • Internal communications

    • Support the maintenance of the intranet
    • Drafting copy for newsletter
    • Formatting and creating internal briefing documents
    • Distribution of internal communications briefings
  • Events

    • Source/identify venues appropropriate to the event requirements
    • Provide end to end operational and logistical support e.g. pre event booking, registration, invitations
    • Determine all requirements in terms equipment, audio etc liaising with client and venue
    • Facilitation at event
    • Provide post event reports on feedback/evaluation from attendees

Profile

Ideally a graduate in Communications, Marketing or Media

2 to 3 years plus practical experience

The person needs to be available to start within 1 week
