Communications Executive – The Role                                                                                            This is an amazing opportunity to produce great work and save the world for future generations.

We urgently need to restore nature. But we can’t do it alone. We need to engage the public, businesses and governments in this vital issue and empower them to take action to protect nature. That’s why we are working with some of the biggest companies to raise awareness and inspire action. This is where your skills come in as Communications Executive.

You will act as the day-to-day contact for your portfolio of corporate partners and work with them and the wider WWF team to deliver an engaging communications plan. Responsible for building strong relationships with key partner contacts, you will also be involved in producing high quality communications materials, including press releases, web content, social posts, event briefings and internal announcements. You will ensure communication activities are inline and complement our overall narrative as well as other communications priorities.

Communications Executive – Requirements                                                                                             You must have experience in a communications role and been involved in executing range of communications approaches, such as B2C, B2B, PR and events. This will have given you a good understanding of the UK media and digital landscape. You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of business on the environment and what makes a good corporate-NGO partnership.

Highly organised you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills too.

Who are we?                                                                                                                                          WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive.

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
