Citizens Advice is looking for a media relations specialist or journalist to join our fast-paced news team. As a Press Officer you will deliver high-impact media coverage on specific policy areas, such as Universal Credit or debt, as well as handling reactive media enquiries.

Creative and forward-thinking, you’ll be an excellent writer able to identify and shape a story, and keen to spot fresh ways of achieving our goals. You will relish the challenge of pitching to journalists and producers across all channels and platforms and have a good understanding of the media landscape. This is is a great opportunity to thrive in a team working together to promote social justice.
