Faith Communities Manager

Harris Hill are excited to be working with an elderly care charity to find a Faith Communities Manager to focus on the Community fundraising from a faith group perspective, growing support and funds from key leaders of churches and new church streams.

Duties and responsibilities:

-Develop and implement faith community fundraising strategies, growing relationships with key leaders of churches and new church streams
-Work with the fundraising team to identify and develop relationships with potential faith community related high value donors, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations legacy givers, individual donors and community fundraisers
-Build and implement effective stewardship programmes for faith community donors, creating communications and events plans including speaking opportunities at Theological colleges, church leader events and at churches
-To Manage the Faith Communities Co-ordinator focusing on relationships with churches at a local level and developing volunteering teams within churches
-To create plans to recruit new and motivate existing Methodist Church volunteers

Skills and experience needed

-Experience of working in Christian and multi faith communities
-Experience working fundraising in a charity
-Great written and verbal communications skills including Preaching and/or public speaking experience
-Ability to think strategically and promote the charities work in innovative and engaging ways to different audiences in various media
-Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and co-ordinate workload
-Good people skills and the ability to deal with others with integrity and diplomacy
