Job Details

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Senior Digital Marketing Officer for a health related charity in order to use marketing expertise to coordinate and deliver digital campaigns that drive sales of the charity s products, training and membership.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Proactively research, plan, deliver and evaluate digital marketing plans and activities, writing engaging copy, developing key messages and using appropriate channels.
Work with the Sales Manager, Head of Communications and Head of Training to develop and implement a marketing strategy to promote products, resources, training and membership, and deliver agreed targets and objectives.
Oversee the charity s online shop, optimising product and training pages and working with colleagues to make sure the website is optimised as a key marketing tool.
Manage and expand the charity s membership scheme, including recruitment and retention strategy, benefits, evaluation and co-ordinate its administration.
Ensure all marketing activity is properly scheduled and fully costed.
Monitor, analyse, evaluate and report on sales and marketing data.
Maintain and grow the CRM database (Salesforce), ensuring customer data is kept accurate and up-to-date, building up contacts and leads, and ensuring the database is used effectively to inform marketing activities
Use Salesforce to profile and analyse customers and develop marketing and sales actions aimed at increasing existing customer loyalty and recruiting new customers.
Work with key colleagues to identify new opportunities for products, services and partnerships and assist in securing funding for development.
Work with colleagues across the communications team to ensure all communications channels are used effectively for marketing.
Work with external suppliers on production of marketing materials as necessary.
Use Photoshop to prepare and produce graphics and imagery for the website and social media.
Oversee the administration of subscriptions for the charity s primary school resource.
Produce regular reports and recommendations on the charity s sales and marketing performance.

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Demonstrable digital marketing experience, including email campaigns, managing google and Facebook adverts, social media, and search engine optimisation.
Experience planning and delivering marketing plans.
Experience using a CRM database (preferably Salesforce) to inform marketing activities.
Demonstrable experience of analysing web traffic and conversion rates to inform marketing activities.
Demonstrable understanding of sales pipelines and user journeys.
Good knowledge of best practice in managing customer data and marketing preferences.
Self-starter, able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, make independent decisions, and self-motivated to meet and exceed targets.
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a busy workload.
Experience writing and proofreading copy to a high standard for a range of channels and audiences.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confident and effective communicator, with strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion skills, and ability to build and manage relationships.
High level of IT skills, including Photoshop and digital marketing tools.
