Job Title:  Database & Insights Manager

Hours / contract:  37.5 hours per week / permanent

Salary:  £28,000 - £32,000

Location:  East London

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Database & Insights Manager to join the Fundraising team at a local children’s hospice charity. This is a key role in the team, taking responsibility for the management of the Raiser’s Edge database and ensuring data is at the heart of fundraising at the charity. You will champion the use of the database and help drive data insight to maximise supporter recruitment and retention across the charity. You will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the fundraising database and will be comfortable giving training to others to ensure consistent and accurate use of the database.

In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience of database management (preferably Raiser’s Edge)
  • Experience of working with large data sets and data analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and/ or Access
  • Experience of working as part of a fundraising team
  • Excellent knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Gift Aid

You will have strong analytical and planning skills, excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people across a complex organisation. You will be a self-starter, highly motivated and have a pro-active and collegial approach to work.
