Job Title:  Marketing Manager (Institutional)

Hours / contract:  35 hours per week / 12 month contract

Salary:  £42,228

Location:  London

We are working in partnership with an educational charity specialising in science and the promotion of scientific excellence and international collaboration. The charity is seeking to appoint a Marketing Manager (Institutional) to join the publishing section of the organisation. The post-holder will be responsible for marketing data, analytics, and reporting, maintaining and developing the complete central marketing contact databases.

In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record in general marketing                          
  • Knowledge of subscription/academic publishing
  • Experience of campaign implementation (direct mail, email, etc.)
  • Excellent copy-writing skills
  • Excellent persuasion, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)  
  • The ability to update and format webpages using XHTML

You will be a clear logical thinker, with good attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead and prioritise tasks. You will be highly creative and proactive and be able to communicate complex information in many ways and to different audiences.
