Interim Finance and Operations Director

The Interim Finance and Operation Director is a pivotal appointment for this charity during a period of transition. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will form part for the Senior Management Team providing direction and leadership on financial strategy, strategic financial planning and modelling to help achieve ambitious organisation growth and impact.

Leading a team of three staff members you will be actively engaged in providing a strategic operational lead for finance and IT systems, HR and Risk Management, governance, compliance, and office management aspects of the organisation. This role will operate at a strategic level, whilst also remaining hands-on in a small team.

We are looking for a collaborative and strategic finance leader with experience of leading a successful finance and operation function. A qualified Accountant, you will bring excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside strong relationship building skills.

Critically, you will be passionate about educational disadvantage, and have significant knowledge and understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
