The TPP Fundraising and Development team are supporting a national health charity with the search for a Legacy Fundraising Manager. This role will report to the Regional Fundraising Manager (Legacies), and hold responsibility for soliciting legacies from a wide range of prospects in North East England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. These prospects will come from a range of sources including existing individual supporters, service users and members of the public. The role can be based anywhere across the region (including home-based), but there will be travel required in post.

Specifically you will:

- Deliver legacy events each year in your region. This will include researching venues, planning and hosting the event, and presenting on Will-making and legacies.
- Manage relationships with local networks, volunteers, campaigners, staff and services in your region. You will identify reception speakers and opportunities to engage with prospects.
- Contact new prospect leads from the Legacy Marketing team and over time, convert intenders to pledgers.
- Support legacy marketing activities such as Remember a Charity and Legacy Awareness Week at a regional level.

This is a great role in an experienced team - in order to be considered you will need experience selling, negotiating or making fundraising asks to a wide variety of audiences through face to face, telephone and written communication. You will have experience of making presentations to groups, of planning/hosting events, and a knowledge of the principles, methods and practices of legacy fundraising. This search is not limited to those with prior experience of legacy fundraising - candidates with experience of community fundraising will also be well suited to this role.
