Job Details

You will be joining a fun and supportive team with a leading professional body for their industry during an exciting period of change for the organisation with plenty of scope for development.

Description

  • Assisting with the migration of the organisation's email system (to Dotmailer)
  • Managing the day to day activities of the email channel for local and international teams
  • Ensuring emails are on brand and of a high standard of quality
  • Writing copy, editing, proof reading, checking URLs and email formatting
  • Managing email data including de-duplication of email send data, segmentation, etc
  • Creating targeted and segmented email sends working with other internal teams on how best to segment data to decrease send of irrelevant emails
  • Working with the Email Marketing Manager to review success rates of campaigns and towards strategies to improve email metrics
  • Assisting the Email Marketing Manager to influence email strategy
  • Managing the daily email schedules across various teams in the organisation
  • Reviewing email metrics for local campaigns, including reporting on open, click and call to action rates, unsubscribes, bounces etc
  • Acting as the main point of contact for any email build queries from staff members
  • Working with global teams to manage email in our regional offices
  • Spot gaps in campaigns and recommending improvements where necessary
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation

Profile

Essential

  • Proven email marketing experience including an understanding of segmentation and targeting
  • Ability to evaluate and report on email marketing activity and campaigns using key metrics
  • Strong written and verbal skills with ability to work with stakeholders of all levels
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively as part of a team
  • Being a positive and flexible team member


Desirable

  • Email migration / automation experience (Dotmailer highly desirable)
  • Previous experience within a membership or education organisation
  • Degree or equivalent preferably in Marketing, or relevant marketing / digital marketing qualification
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
