Description

  • Deliver a range of high-quality multi-year giving programmes, initiatives and events that promote the continuation of income streams
  • Secure funding and network introductions and oversee the management of donor relations to encourage further involvement in national and regional charitable service delivery programmes specifically identified to match the individual's or organisation's interests
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships, both internal, external including key stakeholders
  • Manage and deliver on set outcomes and ensuring financial targets are met, taking responsibility for achieving or exceeding income targets
  • Monitor and analyse income and expenditure reports for individuals, accounts and events
  • Contribute and lead in maintaining a pipeline of new opportunities with the capacity and interest through research and development as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from a range of teams to maximise on opportunities that arise from their extensive relationships and knowledge
  • Identify and secure a range of budget relieving Pro Bono opportunities ensuring that the personal and/or brand exposure from such activities
  • Profile

    Essential

    • Demonstrable experiece delivering a range of programmes and events
    • Ability to deliver targeted growth in levels of support for our work and shape compelling propositions from High Net Worth Individuals and Corporate Partners and funders
    • Strong understanding of grant management and programme funding
    • Ability to concisely present complex issues and solutions in an accessible format to senior internal and external audiences
    • Highly collaborative approach with an ability to develop and maintain effective working relations at all levels
    • Outstanding organisational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work comfortably under pressure within a busy environment
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and demonstrate gravitas with stakeholders at director level
    • Demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach
    • Familiarity with managing and keeping within budgets and post-event reporting

    Desirable

    • Experience of working for within a charitable organisation
    • Degree or equivalent qualification necessary to the role

    Job Offer

    • Salary of between £24,000 - £26,000 commensurate with experience
