The Role
The Royal British Legion is looking for an experienced Campaign Manager to join its Individual Giving Fundraising team.
Sitting within the Supporter Development and Engagement team, and reporting into the Product Manager for Legacies, the Campaign Manager: Legacy Pledger Stewardship and Events will be responsible for managing the legacy pledger stewardship and engagement programme.
You will be responsible for developing and managing communications and events to legacy pledgers, ensuring an excellent experience for our supporters, maximising engagement and retention, and securing future legacy income for the Legion.
You will plan and manage communications end to end, using a range of marketing channels including direct mail, email, telephone, and SMS. You will also plan and organise a busy event programme aimed at meeting legacy supporters face-to-face across the country. Working with the Product Manager for Legacies you will develop long-term strategies, budgets and targets for this important stewardship programme.
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification or equivalent experience, and will have significant experience of planning and managing complex direct marketing campaigns. Experience of planning and organising events is also essential. You will also have experience of managing suppliers, managing budgets and forecasting, analysing results and using insight to inform strategy and campaign plans, and people management.
