Harris Hill are proud to be working alongside a national youth charity who work tirelessly to improve the future prospects of young people growing up in some of the most disadvantaged communities.

This is a genuinely exciting role for a highly proficient and experienced Finance Controller. The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the organisation's financial management. You will responsible the charity accounting, statutory and financial reporting to senior management, preparing the budget & forecasts, reviewing and developing the internal control policies & procedures.

As the Interim Finance Controller your responsibilities will also include producing and completing the annual audit and financial risk management.

Skills & Experience
You will be a qualified Accountant with substantial experience of financial accounting in a senior role. Naturally, you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

- Have proven working experience as a Financial controller
- Experience working within the Charity Sector
- Have strong leadership skills with experience of managing a small team
- Have the ability to interpret and analyse complex data and be able to translate this information to your non-finance colleagues.
- Strong IT knowledge
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience of Sage accounting software
- A good working knowledge of Google Apps & Salesforce is desirable.

Initailly this is a 6 month FTC with the potential to be a permanent position.
