A charity are looking for a Transformation Programme Manager for a 2 year contract.
This role will oversee the different strands of planned change activity intended to improve back office effectiveness and efficiency, as part of their new transformation programme.. You will take the lead on a number of change activities and ensure effective delivery, governance and measurable benefits realisation.

You will strengthen their capability to deliver the target change activities by providing good practice expertise and will work cross-functionally with transformation leads, functional business owners, business change managers and project managers in the back office to prioritise change activities, support delivery and track benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
-Effective leadership and support of the delivery of the back office transformation elements of the transformation programme
-Developing improvement solutions and leading and directing implementation
-Ensuring issues, dependencies and risks across the back office transformation are identified, assessed and mitigated and ensuring delivery is in line with organisational objectives
-Managing appropriate resource allocation and prioritisation to ensure that back office transformation activity is balanced and manageable
-Taking a hands-on approach and working closely with colleagues across functions to maximise delivery certainty across back office improvements
-Alongside colleagues in the back office functions, continually reviewing planned change activity to ensure that implementation plans are feasible, integrated and aligned
-Assessing and evaluating readiness for and impact of change, ensuring change is managed and delivered effectively
-Developing and implementing appropriate benefits realisation progress and tracking
-Applying financial management experience to devise, oversee or monitor programme and/or project budgets and report on financial information
-Ensuring effective change management and internal engagement and communication throughout the change lifecycle and across the charity to engage, energise and inspire our people about improvements to the back office
-Establishing engagement and gaining and maintaining commitment from a wide range of stakeholders
-Designing and providing tools, training and on-the-job coaching to colleagues including change management techniques and structured problem solving


Skills and Experience required:
-Formal qualification in programme management
-In-depth working knowledge of portfolio, programme and project management
-Knowledge of tools for planning, estimation, stakeholder, issues, risk and benefits management
-Strong track record of successfully leading, delivering and managing large, complex change programmes in large organisations, specifically including delivery of measurable improvement to back office effectiveness and efficiency
-A background in designing, managing and delivering solutions to ambiguous issues
-Exprerience of challenging traditional practices and gaining buy-in and support from a range of stakeholders
-Very experienced in influencing and holding senior colleagues to account, at the same or higher level of seniority
-Extensive experience of successfully influencing and delivering cultural change
-Applying commercial acumen and understanding of financial models
-Experience of defining, monitoring and evaluating performance and tracking benefits
-Substantial change management, engagement and change communications experience in complex organisations
