ThinkForward has an ambitious vision to prevent the next generation of youth unemployment in the areas of the UK that most need its support.  Their unique long-term coaching programme works with young people in schools and colleges who are identified as most at risk of becoming unemployed. Highly skilled Coaches work with young people for five years from the age of 13 to 18 to succeed in education and then progress into sustained employment.

Chief Executive
London
Competitive Salary

ThinkForward is a growing charity having recently expanded its work outside London to Nottingham and Kent and with plans to expand to Warwickshire in September 2018.
As ThinkForward’s Chief Executive, you will build a strong learning organisation that invests in and develops its people whilst building an evidence base that will prepare the organisation for further growth and long-term sustainability.

Working closely with our committed and supportive trustees and executive team, you will develop and implement ThinkForward’s strategic plan whilst providing inspirational organisational leadership and ensure a strong focus on delivering impact for some of the country’s most vulnerable young people.

We are looking for a strategic leader with significant experience of engaging disadvantaged young people through education and/or employability programmes.  With proven experience raising funds and securing government contracts, your leadership will ensure ThinkForward’s programmes are sustainable and scalable and your ambassadorial skills will help to raise our profile and leverage our networks and connections.

Critical to your success will be a genuine passion and enthusiasm for transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people.

ThinkForward is committed to equality of opportunity and applications from all communities are welcomed.  Because we recognise that black, Asian and minority ethnic communities are under-represented in our senior staff we are particularly keen to receive applications from BAME candidates.

To find out more about the role, and how to apply, please read the detailed Appointment Brief on the Prospectus website which can be reached by clicking on the apply button.

If you wish to have an informal discussion about the opportunity, please contact our retained advisors Borge Andreassen, Linda Griffiths or James Wilkinson at Prospectus on 020 7691 1920, or e-mail Linda.Griffiths@prospect-us.co.uk or James.Wilkinson@prospect-us.co.uk

Deadline for applications:     Monday 10th September
