Our client has been ranked in the top 50 in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for in the whole of the UK. They are one of the largest landlords in the South West, with a diverse portfolio of affordable and market rented homes.
Due to internal promotion, they are looking for a dynamic individual to complete delivery of the current round of the Working Well programme for 14-19 year olds, supporting them to overcome the barriers they face in building confidence, wellbeing and skills.
You will be confident working one to one or with small groups, delivering activities to build confidence and self-esteem, teaching and developing employability skills and supporting people to participate in meaningful occupation. In addition to teaching budgeting and life skills, the project aims to bring out the best in people through creativity, music and outdoor activities.
The successful candidate will need to have relevant training or teaching experience and the ability to work effectively with young people and manage challenging behaviour, together with an understanding of education, training, employment and supported housing or project based youth work.
The ability to travel around BANES and experience of monitoring and evaluation within an outcomes framework would be desirable for this role.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check is required for this role.
If this sounds like the exciting new challenge you’ve been waiting for, and you’ve got the passion, the ideas and the motivation, our client would love to hear from you.
