  • Identifying and working with women's rights delivery partners, developing partnership agreements and managing funding grants.
  • Overseeing and tracking the women's rights capacity building budget, as well as producing quarterly financial reports.
  • Building a coalition of women's rights and LGBTÂ organisations by identifying women's right's civil society partners in key countries and regions. This will include building relationships with organisations such as women's trade unions and faith-based organisations. In addition you will develop strategy and advocacy approaches in partnership with civil society and Equality and Justice Alliance members.

What you'll need to have:

Here is how you will stand out:

  • Significant international programme management experience working with women's rights organisations and networks.
  • Proven capacity-building expertise alongside extensive exposure to managing large scale budgets and donor reporting.
  • Knowledge of international / regional women's rights frameworks and domestic laws on sexual offences, VAWG and equality legislation.
  • A strong track record in organising roundtables and workshops across different countries, particularly in the Global South, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including senior political and diplomatic officials, lawyers and activists.
  • Educated to postgraduate level in a related discipline, such as human rights or international law is desirable; a clear commitment to improving the lives of women and girls is a must.
