Senior Manager - Consumer Insight & Experience

Angel, London

Salary Range: Competitive with excellent benefits

Closing Date: 26th August

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Insight & Experience Senior Manager to join our team within Fundraising & Marketing (F&M). In this important role, you will lead a team of six experts to provide customer insight and market understanding to help shape CRUK's portfolio, brand and innovation initiatives. Drive, influence and thought-leadership are just a few of the traits you will possess and like us, you'll have a passion for wanting to beat cancer sooner. In return, we'll offer full support to ensure you receive the expert knowledge you need to be as successful as you can, as well as opportunities to grow, develop and try new things within the organisation. If that isn't enough, you'll be helping us reach our target of 3 in 4 people surviving cancer by 2034.

We are looking for a tenacious and self-motivated individual to...

  • Develop the Consumer Insights and Experiences team as high performing experts and motivate them to challenge stakeholders to drive value through insights.
  • Support the identification and development of key CI and CX projects that fit with our overarching strategic priorities and bring benefit to the organisation as a whole.
  • Oversee development and execution of the customer experience strategy for CRUK that seeks to drive loyalty, active commitment and long-term value amongst our supporters.
  • Implement a tracking programme to measure changes in satisfaction and engagement amongst our audiences.
  • Represent our core capabilities and work with senior stakeholders across the organisation to gain commitment for key initiatives that will deliver consumer benefit.

We're game changers. Here at Cancer Research UK, we aim to save more lives by preventing, controlling and curing cancer sooner.

You can help us beat cancer sooner through your...

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Consumer Insight (qual and quant) or Customer Experience approaches, best practice and platforms.
  • Proven track record in people management, with ability to motivate, coach, and manage a team to deliver strong performance.
  • Ability to influence confidently at all levels, winning support for ideas that may not be preferred by everyone.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a multi-product or portfolio environment with diverse stakeholders.

Our passion, determination and ambition leads us to set ourselves more and more challenging targets, which means you'll be a strategic thinker with the ability to come up with holistic solutions to multi-faceted business problems. You'll also be able to distil complex information into clear business needs, and communicate simply and clearly to a range of audiences.
