Deputy Head of Community and Events

We are working with a fantastic health care charity based in Peterborough, looking for a Deputy Head of Community and Events on an 18-month FTC basis, to be responsible for the day to day management and leadership of the Community & Events Fundraising Team.

Duties and responsibilities:
-To be responsible for implementing the Community & Events Fundraising strategy
-To oversee the delivery of the charity's community fundraising activity, challenge events portfolio and corporate partnerships
-Line management of 4 staff
-Alongside fundraising and communications colleagues, create fundraising propositions, products and fundraising tools

Skills and experienced needed:
-Significant experience in community and events fundraising
-Experience of building relationships with a range of individuals or organisations
-Management of budgets and the development and implementation of plans
-Previous line management experience
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentations)
