Our Community and Events Team play a critical role in delivering inspiring and engaging fundraising campaigns and challenge events as well as providing excellent supporter engagement and stewardship for community and events participants.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional to lead the day to day development and delivery of our community fundraising activity, challenge events portfolio and corporate partnerships. Managing four direct reports and responsible for a team seven, this post will play a key role in leading a high-performing team that delivers against income and supporter targets.

The successful applicant must be passionate and committed to giving an outstanding supporter experience, relationship building and creating new opportunities to grow income. You will be joining at an exciting time and this job will be as rewarding as it is challenging.

You will need to have experience of managing and developing teams and recent experience of overseeing/delivering community and events fundraising. You will be knowledgeable of current trends in the sector on supporter engagement and stewardship.  With excellent organisational, financial and communication skills, you should be determined, professional and able to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver fundraising targets.  

Reporting to the Head of Community & Events, you need to be a strong team player who can work on their own initiative.

This new post has been developed to increase capacity within the Community & Events leadership at a time when the Head of team is being seconded part-time to another role.
