Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Side by Side Coordinator 
Location: Islip, Nr Thrapston, Northamptonshire 
Contract type: Full time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £22,132 per annum (actual) 

Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 16th August. 
Interview date: Week commencing Monday 20th August 
About the role: 

Are you an enthusiastic, passionate, experienced professional who would like to be part of growing an exciting flagship service for the the Society. The Side by Side service aims to tackle issues around social inclusion and loneliness for people with dementia by supporting them to access hobbies and interests supported by volunteers in the community. 
About you: 

This influential role calls for a good understanding of dementia and proven ability to collaborate with external partners. You will recruit and support a team of volunteers to provide a service in the community for people with dementia. 
- You will be an excellent communicator and listener who can lead, develop and inspire others. 
- Excellent organisational skills are essential, and you are likely to have experience of working with statutory and voluntary agencies. 
- Add to that your ability to travel independently and work flexible hours when necessary.
