Supporter Engagement Manager / Events Manager

Position: Supporter Journey & Retention Manager – Sports Events 
Location: Flexible across England, Wales and Northern Ireland 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: From £35,747 to £39,742 actual per annum, depending on location

About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced Supporter Journey & Retention manager to help lead and deliver engaging stewardship journeys for our Sporting Events portfolio. 

Our portfolio consists of over 25,000 fundraisers taking part in over 80 runs, cycles, treks, swims and skydives each year. We want to push our stewardship journeys to the next level ensuring we grow our fundraising income and long term engagement with Alzheimer’s Society. 

This role will develop and strategically project manage the sports events stewardship programme for new and existing supporters across multichannel campaigns, including digital, social, print and telephone ensuring improved payer rates, increase in average gift and continued lifetime support across Alzheimer’s Society. You will also lead on the relationship with partner agencies who work with us to meet these outcomes. 

About you: 

Enthusiastic, creative and highly organised, you will be used to working across a variety of projects and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. With strong experience in writing compelling and persuasive communications across a variety of channels, you will also be organising and promoting events within the charity sector. 

As a member of the Fundraising Management Team you will have a role to play in the wider Fundraising team, championing Sport Events and working together to build long term support of our event participants.
