Support Coordinator - Communication Support

Position: Support Coordinator - Communication Support
Location: Birmingham; flexible location base with frequent travel across Birmingham and the wider zone 
Job Type: Fixed term maternity cover for 6 months with the possibility of extension 
Hours: 25 hours per week 
Salary circa £16,000 per annum

Would you like to work with them in a dynamic, leading our client to support stroke survivors and families in the community with their life after stroke, developing effective communication strategies and rebuilding confidence? 

With a background in health or social care, the Support Coordinator – Communication Support will have the ability to enable service users to identify their needs and desired outcomes; using strong assessment skills and a person centred approach to enable stroke survivors to maximise their recovery. 

Utilising your excellent IT and organisational skills you will be able to manage your priorities to deliver a quality service and to manage the team of volunteers who support it. 

The use of a car with business use cover and the ability to drive is essential to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role. 

You may have experience of the following: Communication Support Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Health Care, Stroke Recovery, Third Sector, Charity, Charities, NFP, Not for Profit, Support Coordinator, Advice, Support Coordinator etc.
