ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to work in Breast Cancer Care’s UK-wide Evidence, Policy and Campaigns team which develops and delivers effective, evidence-based influencing campaigns to improve breast cancer services and care across the UK.
For the length of the contract (an initial 12 month contract from mid/end of September 2018 – secondments considered), this role will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Lead on the development of policy positions and outputs, providing expertise to the organisation on policy and campaign development.
- Maintain the momentum gathered by the Care After Breast Cancer campaign on improving support for breast cancer patients at the end of treatment, as well as campaigning work on secondary breast cancer.
- Represent Breast Cancer Care at high-level policy groups and advisory bodies.
- Work with the Head of Evidence, Policy and Campaigns in the strategic planning and budget setting for the team’s portfolio of work.
- Utilise Breast Cancer Care’s growing and thriving campaigns community to influence change at local and national level.
- Join a team passionate about improving the standards of care and support for those living with, and affected by, breast cancer.
