Salary: £35,000 per annum incl. London Weighting + excellent benefits

Contract length: Permanent

We have an exciting new opportunity to join us and deliver new and innovative ways of engaging mid value donors through collaborating with other teams.

The Mid Value team at Cancer Research UK is responsible for the cultivation, stewardship, retention and repeat giving of people donating £250 - £10,000 to the organisation. We have been through an intense period of audience-led testing and learning which has proven the value and potential of this particular area of fundraising. We are now looking into how we can acquire more supporters who can donate at this level. The role will be responsible for driving the acquisition of donors by working with other teams to maximise on collaborative opportunities, delivering new products and propositions and identifying new opportunities to engage prospects.

What you will be doing

In this role you will…

  • Build positive and constructive partnerships with internal teams in order to influence their activity and maximise collaborative opportunities and engage our target audience
  • Generate and cultivate new supporter leads for a range of teams and transfer relationships over to be developed and account managed
  • Work with the Proposition Development Manager to test and measure new products and propositions, feeding back insight for development wherever possible
  • Identify opportunities throughout the business, and externally, where we can engage our target audience
  • Be responsible for the Payroll Giving channel of work to uplift current mass affluent supporters and engage new ones to support at a Mid Value level and above. This will include working closely with Corporate Partnerships, Volunteer Fundraising, Individual Giving and delivering training where needed.
