Community Project Manager (maternity cover)
Reference: 534/CPM
Location: Groundwork London offices, primarily based in Waterloo and project sites across London
Contract: Fixed, up to 12 months

Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: Circa £30,000

In this role you’ll manage the delivery of an innovative and varied portfolio of community projects and services in South London. Recent projects have included food-waste reduction campaigns, community garden start-ups, the co-design of new play spaces and the production of a community film in the Wandle Regional Park, exploring the park’s heritage.

You’ll oversee the delivery of more than 25 community projects in the coming year.  The ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver outstanding work will be crucial in this role. You will also have a key role in the development of new projects and your enthusiasm for building effective relationships with new and existing partners and funders will be essential.

You’ll have experience in delivering community and behaviour change projects, engaging with diverse communities and strong relationship management skills.  As an enthusiastic team player, you will have excellent written and verbal skills that will enable you to ensure high standards of communication, and the ability to contribute to funding bids and deliver and implement projects to the highest standards.

You will be experienced in planning projects and reporting, monitoring and evaluating the impact against KPIs and targets. Managing multiple project budgets and team capacity through our bespoke Project Management System will enable you to plan project delivery effectively.
