We are excited to be working with a major national cancer charity on a Fundraising Product Officer role. They are looking for someone with a community or events fundraising background to work with the team on supporting their fundraising in a known campaign. A fantastic opportunity to join a successful team and charity with growth opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities:

-To manage and grow the fundraising products to help increase activity and volunteers

-To be a key point of contact for fundraising collection enquiries, supporting people along their journey

-To ensure that supporters are managed and given a supporter journey, to influence continued -support, increase fundraising income and bring in new supporters too

-Work with fundraising team to monitor budgets and income targets, ensuring he campaign and -fundraising stays relevant

-To work on the internal communications for the rest of fundraising team to update progress of the campaign

-Work closely with the marketing and digital team to ensure all content is relevant to the current strategy

Experience and skills needed:

-Experience of working in a fundraising background, community or events working to market fundraising campaigns

-Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task

-Ability to work in a team and independently, using initiative

-Strong communication and relationship building skills both internal and external

-Knowledge in promoting fundraising and supporting participants

-Strong IT skills, Word, Excel, Outlook and databases (eg Raisers Edge)
