Job Details
A charity are looking for a Partnerships Manger (Employers) to source and secure opportunities to enable the charity's young people to progress into employment and apprenticeships.
You will work collaboratively with Corporate Partners and the Education Team, using your expertise in apprenticeships and customer service to create and sustain an apprenticeship programme that delivers excellence for both employers and learners.
Key Responsibilities:
-Establish a robust framework for Employer Communication on all elements of the Apprenticeship service, ensuring that employers are informed and equipped to effectively run standards in their organisation by using your knowledge and expertise of this area.
-Ensure communication with employers who also engage with the wider charity (e.g fundraising or volunteering) is co-ordinated
-Provide innovative engagement opportunities for existing and prospective employers such as networking or information events, award opportunities and recognition of their support.
-Proactively work with other teams to understand their primary objectives and support them by strategically seeking out opportunities beyond apprenticeship placements which could serve the charity's cause (such as funding, volunteering or in-kind support).
-Create a strong working relationship with delivery managers to ensure an excellent service for both employers and learners and build a strong reputation for our service.
-Build strong networks within existing employer partners, ensuring we are able to maintain and grow the number of young people employed from the charity
-Source a pipeline of new employers who can provide employment opportunities for young people in line with the apprenticeship strategy and against targets.
-Externally become a champion for charity's students, encouraging employers to embed the charity into their recruitment strategy.
-Delivering Apprenticeships;
-including ensuring they have the right and timely apprenticeship placements to match their work ready young people and meet placement KPIs.
-Ensure apprenticeship employers receive an excellent service when they take on an apprentice from the charity
-Data and Reporting - Use data insights to inform changes to service and drive excellence, maintain excellent data records to facilitate effective and collaborative relationships.
Skills and Experience required:
-Experience of building effective, mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations of all sizes
-Strong relationship management skills, with proven ability to grow existing partnerships to deliver improved results
-Experience of pitching concepts and ideas to senior management in both internal and external contexts.
-A detailed understanding of the Apprenticeship recruitment sector
-Experience of designing and implementing new services / products
-Use of data to inform decision making
-Delivering new concepts within a specific time frame with multiple dependencies
