Location: Godalming, Surrey (with option of being homebased)
Salary: 35,000- 40,000
Hours: Full Time, Permanent (However will consider part time)

Who are we looking for?
The Science Officer will be a key member of the executive team leading the work of the Humanimal Trust. The appointed candidate will be responsible for driving support for the Trust and its vision among the professional healthcare community, both human and veterinary.
You will have significant experience of pre-award grant administration in a science or research based organisation. This is a role that requires both self-confidence and more importantly the drive, vision and energy to identify opportunities to appeal to the professionals of the future and deliver the key messages of The Humanimal Trust.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who has the ability to influence and persuade using strong interpersonal skills. As the Science Officer, you will be able to relate to, and work with, individuals at senior levels both within the charity and externally.
You will have the confidence and enthusiasm to develop and manage a team of scientifically trained professional volunteers to assist with appropriate event support, speaking engagements and other relevant activities. Crucially, you will need to demonstrate a very organised approach, have an ability to multi-task and have compassion and understanding of the objectives of The Humanimal Trust and of One Medicine.
