Description

• Line manage a team of individual giving acquisition staff, providing motivational and strong leadership to the team, setting strategic priorities, managing performance and development through regular 1:1s, appraisals and team meetings.

• Develop a 3 year strategic plan and vision for donor acquisition to deliver recruitment of new regular and cash donors, with potential for good lifetime value (from target audiences) utilising new and existing channels, contributing to the organisational and area strategic planning process.

• Create and manage the annual individual giving acquisition budget, take responsibility for income and expenditure across multiple channels and activities. Monitor income and expenditure against targets and objectives; prepare accurately monthly reports including re forecasting and analysing performance against KPIs.

• Work with the marketing and communications unit to identify, define and develop new individual giving audiences

Profile

* Skilled Direct Marketer, with at least 6 years' experience of delivering and exceeding income in charity fundraising acquisition with 2 years' experience managing high performing teams







* Proven ability in developing and implementing strategic and operational plans and preparing and managing budgets income and expenditure.







* Proven experience of supporter recruitment using multiple channels across digital, print and broadcast media, preparing and implementing strategies and complex multi-channel plans and budgets.





* Demonstrable experience and success in leading and managing complex campaigns across a number of different marketing channels including direct marketing, digital, radio, press to deliver sustainable income and income growth. To effectively plan, prioritise and deliver to tight timescales in a busy environment.
