Our client, one of London's leading higher education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Student Services Officer, to provide key administrative support in a student facing environment.The purpose of this role is to assist with general administration including maintaining the database and ensuring all files and records are up to date. The post holder will act as first point of contact for all student queries by phone, face-to-face and email and manage the attendance monitoring process including maintaining the attendance database. You will be required to provide consistently high levels of customer service to all students and respond efficiently to all enquiries.


In order to be considered for this post, you will have previous experience in a similar student support position within the higher education industry along with excellent customer service skills and IT and communication skills. With the ability to work independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly. The ideal candidate will also have experience using the student records system SITS and Office 365.
