Head of New Business

Circa £55,000 per annum

Permanent

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Corporate Partnerships team at Unicef UK has built a significant track record of sustainable income growth over the past five years managing partnerships with major UK companies including Manchester United, ARM, EasyJet, and Unilever. Our vision is to be the partner of choice for the UK’s leading companies, working hand in hand to put children and their futures at the heart of business, delivering high quality funds and valuable business resources. We consistently innovate in order to ensure we are experts, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to our partners and other teams across Unicef.

We are currently seeking a Head of New Business to join our corporate partnerships team. Key to the future success our ambitious goals, you will lead a high-performing team to develop a multi-million pound new business pipeline by securing new global and national partnerships to provide the greatest benefit for children.

To succeed in this role, you will have extensive experience of new business development either from the private sector or a large charity and you should also have a proven track record of inspiring and motivating a large team to achieve ambitious targets.

This is a fantastic opportunity to create a better world for children by securing and developing strategic, long-term partnerships with top UK companies.

Act now and apply.

Closing date: 5pm, Tuesday 28 August 2018.

First round interviews: Thursday 6 and Friday 7 September 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon.  From late August 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (zone 2).  Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
