Perrett Laver is an Executive Search Firm and our mission is to serve sectors that benefit society by finding the strongest leaders to take on tomorrow’s challenges. We are an Employee Owned Trust, and our diverse team incorporates over 100 employees from many different countries and backgrounds across our ten global offices. We have practices in Higher Education, Schools, Arts and Culture and the Not-for-Profit sectors. Our Advisory Board is chaired by Professor Dame Alison Richard, formerly Provost of Yale University and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge.

Research Associate

As a Research Associate you will play a critical role in appointment of senior leaders across a range of sectors. You will conduct wide-ranging research to build candidate fields, engage with individuals at the top of their professions, and act as ambassador for our clients in interactions over the phone and face-to-face. You’ll be part of a strong, global network of colleagues and friends who inspire and encourage you to have fun while making a real difference.

The role lends itself to anyone with developed research and advocacy skills who thrives on delivering work that has real-world impact. Professional experience in a marketing or external engagement role would be advantageous, but above all the role requires an enterprising attitude and a passion for assisting organisations operating in the education and not-for-profit sectors.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • interest in the sectors in which we work;
  • excellent verbal and written communication;
  • sharp and rigorous analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • tenacious, committed with strong personal values;
  • strong inter-personal skills both over the phone and face-to-face

Desired:

  • previous professional experience, ideally in a campaigns/advocacy/marketing/external engagement role or equivalent;
  • fluency in another language.
