Our client a children's hospice supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

It’s an exciting time to join our client with building now well under way for The Nook, their new purpose built hospice.

They are looking for a Community Fundraiser responsible for implementing their Regional Fundraising strategy, maximising income within the region through community audiences - maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters and building a network of new supporters.

Community Fundraiser - Suffolk & East Essex
Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £22,000 – £24,500 dependant on experience
Based in Ipswich, IP3 

Working alongside passionate, like-minded and knowledgeable people, a career with our client provides you with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with life-threatening conditions and their families.

You will be supported to achieve agreed annual income targets by initiating new areas and developing existing streams of community involvement. You will build relationships with existing supporters to consolidate and secure income and will facilitate an excellent supporter care experience.

You will conduct extensive research into potential cost-effective fundraising events and activities. An excellent communicator, you will be confident in delivering formal presentations and talks to organisations and social groups. 

The successful applicant will ideally have fundraising experience, but equally important is the willingness to work hard as part of a team and the demonstrable ability to build relationships with supporters from a wide variety of backgrounds.
