Sense is looking for a Policy and Campaigns Advisor to join our highly successful Policy and Campaigns team. The Policy and Campaigns Advisor will lead our policy work related to Health and Social Care.

This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week at our head office in King’s Cross, London.

About the role 
The Government is bringing forward proposals to reform the social care system and develop a 10-year plan for the future of the NHS.  We are seeking a passionate and highly effective influencer to ensure that decision makers recognise and respond to the needs of people with complex disabilities at this critical time. Now is also a pivotal time for Sense, as we seek to achieve our ambitious plan to become the leading charity supporting people with complex disabilities, and to transform more lives than ever before.

About you 
We would like to hear from you if you have experience of actively influencing the public policy agenda and are passionate about achieving change for disabled people and their families.

The successful candidate must have the ability to understand and analyse complex policy developments related to health and social care, and identify opportunities to influence. You must be an excellent communicator and be capable of building positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, policy makers and opinion formers.
