Who are Montessori St Nicholas Charity?

MSN provides support for nursery practitioners and settings, advice to parents and training for practitioners in the largest Montessori college in Europe Montessori Centre International (MCI).

MSN seeks to promote and provide exemplary Montessori education by means of training teachers, providing information, advice and support to schools, managing its own schools, and undertaking charitable projects to inform and sustain the Montessori community in the UK.
It is supported in its work by a Board of up to 15 trustees and a committee structure of both trustees and co-opted members that provides direct governance to the core activities of MSN.

How does the Student Services Manager contribute to MSN?

The successful applicant will be joining MSN at an exciting time of growth, the new CEO joined last month, and the Student Services Manager will be imperative to shaping change and establishing a strong team dynamic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a positive impact, and take initiative on a forward thinking organisation.

With the Director of Operations and Director of Learning you will review and develop the student journey from enquiries to graduation. The aim is to develop and implement a student engagement strategy, that will increase student numbers, nationally and internationally, enhance the student experience against ambitious targets for MCI.

You will be coming in to lead, manage and provide a highly effective support service for all students ensuring that the day-to-day delivery of the service is underpinned by a constant focus on high quality outcomes and that the student journey is a success.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual with practical and thorough knowledge and understanding of managing student services, experience of delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns and the ability to use digital marketing tools.

We are seeking a creative thinker, who is able to see the bigger picture. You will be able to draw recommendations from data and be able to develop information into reports and presentations.

Proven supervisory experience, with an ability to lead and motivate staff is essential for this role. The role would be overseeing a central multi-disciplinary team that would include; admissions, registration, student finance and bursaries, professional placement, student welfare, safeguarding, events and quality assurance.

The appointed candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a related subject. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing student services within higher education institution or similar context.
