Job Details
People in the UK go hungry every day for a range of reasons, from benefit delays to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. The Trussell Trust’s 400-strong network of foodbanks provides a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to people experiencing such a crisis. We recognise that stopping hunger is about more than food, which is why foodbanks in our network provide a range of other services to help people to break out of the cycle of poverty. And because we believe that it’s completely unacceptable that anyone is forced to turn to a foodbank, we are working hard at a national level to change the underlying causes of the poverty that leaves people hungry.
This role is responsible for establishing, managing and growing sustainable, mutually beneficial corporate partnerships, attracting the resources we need to bring communities together to end hunger and poverty in the UK.
About you:
The portfolio of partnerships you will be taking on includes leading brand names and you will need to have the skills and experience to able to relate professionally to senior executives at those companies. You will have experience of successfully securing, delivering and developing substantial fundraising partnerships. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects proactively within clearly defined timescales, whilst keeping everyone involved informed and inspired.
You will be resilient, resourceful, flexible and will demonstrate personal integrity and a commitment to our values. You must also have a good working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar cloud-based CRM system.
How to apply
Please submit your application no later than 12 pm on Friday 31 August 2018. We reserve the right to close early or extend this date depending on the number of applicants.
