Prospectus is looking for an ambitious, values driven individual to join our Frontline team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

Prospectus is a well-established recruitment company with a significant profile in the beyond profit sector. We work with a range of organisations including charities, social enterprises, membership bodies and many more. Our trainee consultant programme is an opportunity for an engaged and motivated individual with minimal experience but lots of potential to build a career within a leading and ethical recruitment business.

You will spend six months shadowing and working alongside a Senior Consultant, developing your knowledge and understanding of the business, the Frontline recruitment industry, and the beyond profit sector. You will learn all aspects of the role of a 360 Recruitment Consultant and develop your contribution to the sector. Areas covered will include: engaging organisations to take a brief, writing job adverts and responding to applications; sourcing and interviewing candidates; winning new business and managing client relationships; and representing Prospectus at events and client meetings.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and able to use their own initiative whilst very much working as part of a team. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills alongside the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage a varied workload. We need someone friendly, hardworking and outgoing, someone who's keen to develop a rewarding career within impactful recruitment and consistently grow their knowledge around the Frontline sector.

The role is offered with great benefits, including 6 days of paid volunteering days each year to volunteer with an organisation of your choice, 23 days of annual leave a year, a  profit related bonus scheme, a contributory pension, childcare vouchers, a bike loan, an employee loan scheme, discounted gym membership and payroll giving.

This role is initially offered for a period of six months to cover the training programme whilst you grow and develop your skills and experience. After this point there is the possibility to progress as a permanent member of the team.
