Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
Position: Dementia Support Worker
Location: Barnet
Contract type: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 14 per week
Salary: £9,757.20 per annum
Closing date: 5pm on Monday 6th August

About the role:
They are looking for an empathetic and hardworking individual to join their team in Haringey.
The successful candidate will be working with a variety of professionals across health and social care organisations to promote and provide the best service possible to those affected by dementia.
You will also facilitate a weekly Dementia Café where you will provide both information and related activities to people living with dementia to support and inform them though their journey.
About you:
It is not essential, but previous experience of working with people affected by Dementia is desirable. You will also need to have experience of working within health and social care settings.
You must also be an excellent communicator and listener. Excellent organisational skills are essential, and you are likely to have experience of working with statutory and voluntary agencies. Must have the ability to work independently and work flexible hours when necessary.
