Digital Communications Officer - The Role 
Our client is seeking a dynamic Digital Communications Officer to join their communications team. This is an exciting and challenging role working across a range of digital channels to promote and support their work. 
 
The ideal candidate will work across the organisation to drive digital media for key campaigns and activities. With a strong focus on email marketing, SEO, paid digital advertising, social media and a head for data and databases, you will be using your digital marketing expertise, creativity and flair to support their work.
 
Digital Communications Officer - Requirements: 

•    Assist in day-to-day news and media management, supporting the senior members of the team in all their activities. 
•    Working with the Digital Editor and the Senior Communications Officer to maximise the effective use of databases.
•    Working with the Digital Manager, support the development of creative digital campaigns and content to tell their story.
•    To play a pivotal role in their day to day social media presence across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, Youtube and Soundcloud, including creating and marketing engaging content, monitoring the social media landscape, spotting trending topics and suggesting new opportunities.
•    To develop their SEO, online advertising and social media marketing activity to grow audiences, drive traffic and raise awareness.
•    To gather and analyse data for weekly meetings on digital performance across all channels.
•    Working with the Digital Editor, to support the day-to-day creation of regular emails to internal and external stakeholders using MailChimp, ensuring an efficient and co-ordinated production process, gathering feedback and monitoring relevant statistics to ensure emails are effective at generating website traffic and support.
•    Working with the Digital Manager, to drive innovative new marketing campaigns across their digital channels.
•    Staying on top of digital trends and providing practical opportunities for engagement and contribution across the organisation.
•    To play a role in ensuring that digital communications accurately reflect their mission and values.
 
It is essential that the successful applicant will have:
•    2 years+ digital marketing experience.
•    Able to demonstrate a willingness and aptitude to work constructively within a team, sometimes under pressure.
•    Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the latest digital communications technologies and methods and keen to be aware of leading edge technology in this area.
•    Able to produce outstanding oral and written communication work, often under pressure of time constraints and deadlines
•    An innovative and self-motivated team member with impeccable credentials
