My client is Social Enterprise based in South East London whose mission is to better the lives of people in local and national communities through leisure, sports, health and well-being. This well respected brand is currently embarking upon large digital transformation projects focusing on bettering its current digital estate and user engagement strategy.

Description

The key responsibilities for this Ecommerce Website Manager role based in South East London are:

  • Working across the organisations digital estate and affiliated websites
  • Day-to-day operational running and support of the digital elements (websites, apps and other digital properties) ensuring a network of champions exist to maintain accuracy and consistency
  • Drive digital innovations / development to improve and streamline the organisation, bringing digital to the forefront; giving the position a unique opportunity to be heavily influential to the future growth of GLL.
  • Management of relevant external stakeholders leading project meetings, managing budgets and updating project plans as applicable
  • Understanding and improving website performance.
  • Managing the BAU development roadmap and ensuring appropriate prioritisation of work in sprints.
  • Communicating the release cycle to the business in a digestible manner working with relevant agencies / suppliers
  • Profile

    The successful Ecommerce Website Manager will have the following experience:

  • 3+ years of implementing new developments and managing existing (websites, apps etc)
  • Basic HTML coding.
  • Experience with beta, A/B or MVT testing.
  • Experience of working with and managing agencies (e.g. web development, media, SEO).
  • Strong analytical skills, especially within Google Analytics (GA certified desirable) .
  • Experience managing / developing large commercial website(s).
  • Strong understanding and experience in running multiple projects in an agile approach with good attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the requirements surrounding privacy policies, the use of cookies and
  • security of systems
