Our Volunteer Fundraising teams are integral to the work that we do- it's their support of our local volunteer fundraisers that help our research. Over a quarter of our funding is generated through this work and we are now looking for the right person to join us and accelerate this further!

At Cancer Research UK, we work to inspire volunteers, unite the scientific community, educate the public about cancer prevention and tell our story to the government to bring about change.

Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person, and our 3,500 people work relentlessly every day towards this goal.

Now we need a Regional Acquisition Senior Executive in Northern Ireland to…

  • Working as part of an agile team to accelerate acquisition of new corporate supporters, Relay for Life events and new fundraising groups, identifying and developing new opportunities across Northern Ireland.
  • Attract new supporters in Northern Ireland in line with the strategy to generate new income for Volunteer Fundraising to contribute to our life saving work.
  • Develop supporter relationships and nurture strong internal networks, gathering insight from regional teams to understand needs and identify opportunities as well as working with key stakeholders to measure impact and gather feedback

Join us and help pioneer more tomorrows through your...

  • High level of drive, enthusiasm, tenacity and confidence
  • Knowledge of the fundraising industry and/or not for profit sector
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building and listening skills
  • Creative, curious and innovative, able to articulate the reasons behind their ideas

You'll need to have the ability to engage and win new business, engage and influence individuals, bring knowledge of sales processes, understand supporter and staff led fundraising activity, and comfortably manage ambiguity and changing environments.

If you're as ambitious as we are, join our collective force and enjoy an excellent career, as we save lives and add years.
