Job Details

I am currently looking for an experienced part time (3 days per week) Trading Officer with e-commerce experience to join the fundraising team within a mental health charity. You will be the main point of contact for the charity's Trading Arm. You will manage the day to day running of the online shop, liaise with suppliers and the fulfilment centre, manage stock levels and to work alongside the Communications Team to ensure new products are in line with the brand and manage the annual Christmas card campaign.
You will take responsibility and be the main point of contact for the charity's retail business, manage stock levels and to work with our Communications Team to ensure new products are in line with our brand and manage the annual Christmas Card and gift catalogue campaign.

Main duties:
Manage day to day running of the online shop, monitor the online shop inbox
Adding new products to the online shop and removing out of stock items
Deal with any order queries, complaints and returns
Liaise with the suppliers of our merchandise and fulfilment
Keep on top of stock levels, re-ordering when needed
Source and create new products working with the Corporate and Communications team
Monitor budget and invoice approval
Sale of merchandise at events
Track supporter merchandise sales (volunteer fundraisers selling items on our behalf)
Arrange Christmas card company meetings for selection of cards, choose and place orders for Christmas cards
Create copy for the Christmas Catalogue
Liaise with select volunteers who sell our old Christmas cards at charity pop up shops and craft events
Look after marketing around Christmas cards and the online shop Mass email, social media and print
Monitor Christmas card mailing helping supporters with order queries
Provide interesting items for the Digital Engagement team to feature
This is an exciting time to be joining as the charity is gearing up for their centenary in 2019 and have big aspirations so are looking for a fantastic officer to help achieve them!
