Description

• Assisting with the delivery of the organisation's marketing and communications strategy using a range of channels including website, newsletter, publications, and social media (including assisting with SEO)
• Promotion and assistance with running of trade shows and events, webinars and awards
• Creation and design of marketing materials including banners, flyers, posters (using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Creation of content ranging from monthly newsletters, web content (CMS), social media and email marketing campaigns
• Monitoring the news for key stories and writing press releases
• Working with the wider team to sell advertising space and increase revenue
• Communicating relevant industry activities to wider stakeholders including members, the government and the public
• Forming and maintaining positive relationships with external agencies including printers and designers
• Monitoring and analysing performance and analytics of campaigns

Profile

Essential

• Knowledge of marketing channels (website, email and social media)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent and consistent attention to detail
• Have excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to pick new things up quickly
• Sound analytical skills
• Proactive and creative approach
• A flexible team-player with a can do attitude

Desirable

• Previous commercial/membership/association experience
• A relevant degree or marketing qualification

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £24,000-£27,000 depending on experience.
