We’re looking for an individual with proven writing skills, energy and a strong sense of purpose to join us as an Internal Communications Specialist.

The UK has a housing problem. This affects every one of us, because housing is the foundation of the society we live in. Catalyst is part of the solution. You could be too.

One of the UK’s leading housing associations, Catalyst is here to make a purposeful difference by providing housing solutions for those who can’t afford a home without our help. We offer a wide range of homes, for rent, part ownership or purchase. By doing so, we build more than homes – we build communities. Put simply, we’re committed to our social purpose - in every part of our organisation. And, we always seek to do better. If you do too, read on.

We’re on a journey of improvement, with a new brand and a growing team. We’re looking for a driven and talented communications professional to support us in communicating key information to colleagues through a range of channels, including our intranet, newsletters, digital screens, social media and events large and small. This role will focus on developing a range of internal communications which engage colleagues with our purpose, values and commercial priorities. You will produce and edit content for key internal communications channels, and provide excellent customer service to teams and departments across Catalyst.

This role requires a writer for all channels and all occasions. From social media posts to feature writing, you will love and know how to position messages for greatest impact. You’ll have a keen eye for a story and be able to communicate complex information in a compelling way. You will have experience of working in communications, ideally internal communications, working with multiple platforms including websites, intranets and other digital platforms.

We’re a Sunday Times top 100 Best Company to Work for. We invest a lot of time and resources in our people because we know it’s our people who will drive our success. If you’d like to join us, and help make a real difference, please get in touch.

The role is subject to a basic DBS check.
